"Poncho with Collar" is a classic crochet pattern. The instructions are clearly written and easy to read.  I prefer to design classic patterns that work right on the first try and will be in style for a very long time.  With my classic design, you become the fiber artist and can freely embellish the item to your taste.  For example, one of my clients wanted a collar on her poncho and a flower. This flower is simply single crocheted in a round with some specialty yarn. Another client asked me to give her poncho a lot of flare, so I added beautiful ribbons and sparkly fringe over the shoulders as well as making two huge flowers to place on the top front and bottom back. That poncho was quite a work of art!
